About Us

Amit Mukherjee and Anjan Mukherjee were born and brought up in a family where music held a different aura traditionally.

Both their parents Mrs. Sipra Mukherjee and Lt. Arun Mukherjee were beloved students of some musical maestros such as Lt. Pandit Prasun Bandhopadhay, Lt. Pannalal Bhattacharjee, Lt. Dhananjoy Bhattacharjee, Lt. Satinath Mukhopadhay, Lt. Bholanath Biswas and so on.

Their first introduction to music was through their hands only, so the sense, love and passion for music were always in the blood of Amit & Anjan.

Amit Mukherjee started to learn Tabla from the Guru Kanai Bhattacharjee and from Lt. Bapi Deb and completed his Bachelor of Music (B.Mus) Degree. Simultaneously he also completed Bachelor of Commerce degree as his main stream educational qualification. He also learnt Piano from the famous Pianist Lt. Nirmal Naskar (S/o. Lt. Joseph Naskar one of the famous violinist) who was amongst the best Pianists in India.

Anjan Mukherjee started learning Singing from his mother Mrs. Sipra Mukherjee & father Lt. Arun Kumar Mukherjee. He had also completed his Master in Business Administration (MBA) & Master in Commerce (M.Com) as his main stream educational qualification.

Since both Amit & Anjan had started their musical career at very young age of life and both had the passion for music they worked together all the time to create good music. Besides they have also appeared at uncountable stage performances in different field of music, they have also stepped into music arrangements and music direction later on. They are also the Registered member of The Music Composers Association of India (MCAI) and The Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS) since long time.
